Circularity by Recycling

Circularity by Recycling aims to advance pre-treatment and recycling technologies to increase the recovered value from plastic waste (close the loop).

Technical-Scientific Objectives

The activities to be developed in Circularity by Recycling Work Package will contribute to address the research/innovation challenges applied to the design phase of the article/product/packaging, aiming to improve its overall circularity.

Development of pre-treatment systems for the removal of organic contaminants, paints, and odors;
Development of new raw materials through mechanical recycling of highly contaminated materials.
