The event, organized by the Department of Polymer Engineering at the University of Minho, in partnership with APIP – the Portuguese Plastics Industry Association and CEFAMOL – the Portuguese Mould Industry Association, took place on February 6, 2025, in Guimarães
APIP was present at the lecture series, where Joana Martins Mendes, Executive Director, and Nuno Aguiar, Technical Director, addressed a crucial topic: “Redefining Perceptions: Changing the Mindset in relation to Plastics, where they both stated that “the future of sustainability requires new approaches, based on a responsible and holistic vision, where innovation and scientific evidence are crucial factors in this equation”!
During the event and in the exhibition space dedicated to partner companies, we promoted the Sustainable Plastics Mobilizing Agenda and the second edition of the Plastics Summit – Global Event 2025! After bringing together more than 1,000 participants in the first edition, the next one will be held on October 6, 2025, in Lisbon!
