As part of PPS14: Olive Pit, the PIEP team participated in the 3rd International Summit on Biopolymers and Polymer Science (ISBPS 2025), which took place in Frankfurt, Germany, on July 21 and 22.
During this conference, we had the opportunity to present the work developed in the Olive Pit project through a communication entitled: “From Waste to Value: Environmental and Economic Assessment of Biodegradable Shoe Shapers from Olive Pits.”
ISBPS 2025 proved to be an excellent platform to disseminate the project to various stakeholders in industry and the scientific community, allowing us to highlight the progress made and reinforce the project’s positioning in the context of biopolymers and sustainability.
In addition, the conference provided opportunities for sharing and interacting with key players in the sector, allowing us to gather relevant contributions for the ongoing development of the project.
